Laurent Scallie is deeply passionate about VR and has dedicated his life to this medium since 1992. His accomplishments include founding and running, as CEO, 3 VR companies from Location Based Entertainment (LBE) VR to introducing, developing, and fielding three generations of dismounted infantry military simulation systems to the U.S. Army. He was also a key catalyst behind the creation of Oculus. He was granted 3 patents in VR and has a couple more pending. He designed high-end VR hardware, middleware, software and VR content. He is also contributor to the VR Proto Awards and the Siggraph AR/VR contest.
